IT WAS A BIT OF COINCIDENCE

SKUMT! started with the fact that I wanted to find an alternative to white boring solid soap. Our son Folke has autism and his great interest in pouring out everything that is liquid led me to start making soaps myself. I love colors. I also needed matching unbreakable soap trays, so I started making them. And jewelry, because if you add a big UFO earring to anything, everything becomes cool and fun.

I like to explore colors and color combinations that feels wrong. I like to turn letters upside down so they lose their meaning or get a new meaning. I like to challenge what is boring and beautiful. I like to wear things that are "too much". I think that if you dare to wear a bit of hysterical jewelry, you gain confidence automatically, because people you meet will think that you have a handle on the situation and treat you accordingly.
